The Grace UMC Permanent Endowment Fund was created in 1999 to provide
an opportunity for members and friends of Grace Church to make individual
contributions, bequests and memorials where the principal is permanently
retained and invested. Income, such as interest and dividends, generated
by such investments is used annually to serve the various ministries of the
church.
Funds received for this purpose are deposited with a Fund
Administrator, (currently The Florida United Methodist
Foundation) that will invest all permanent funds received and
serve as custodian of any short-term investments of assets
received. The objectives of the Fund are to conserve principal
and make use of only the income from the Fund unless the donor
specifically designates the use of the principal in the will or
other gift instrument.
