Why is that our Vision Statement?
We at Grace seek to bring all to Christ. John 13:34,35 says,"A new command
I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
- Praying for Others to Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior
- Witnessing for Christ through Faith, Love, Charity, Humility and Forgiveness
- Sharing God's Grace by Example and Action
We nurture God's children through our unique spiritual gifts. Romans 12:6-8 tells us
"We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying,
let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching,
let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of
others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing
mercy, let him do it cheerfully."
- Developing Disciples through Prayer and Bible Study
- Strengthening and Nurturing all of our Young People as Future Leaders of Christ's Church
- Sharing God's Love through Diverse Activities for Individuals, Families and Groups
We care for God's people. Matthew 25:35,36 says,"For I was hungry
and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me,
I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
- Grace is a Family that Cares Through Prayer and Action
- Grace is a Mission-Minded Church
- Grace is Providing Service and Ministry Wherever Needed as God Leads Us
And finally, Grace feels that, change is a reflection of a living, growing and praying church.
Romans 12:2 tells us "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve
what God's will is--His good, pleasing, and perfect will."
And in Matthew 18:3 And he said: "And I tell you the truth, unless you become like little
children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."
- We are Willing to Grow to Meet the Unique Needs of God's Children
- We are Willing to Embrace Change
